Luggage Comparison:

  1. Travel has changed dramatically since the early 1900s. One of the items that has gone through a great transformation is luggage. Compare and contrast the luggage shown in the illustration with luggage typically used today.
  2. Study the luggage pictured on the train platform. Consider the shapes and sizes, the materials used, and special features such as handles, straps, buckles, and latches.
  3. Use a Venn diagram to note similarities and differences between luggage then and now. See the example below.
